International mobility aid for students wishing to follow a higher education course abroad or undertake an international work placement
What is it?

Aid of 400 euros per month will be granted depending on the length of the stay and certain specific factors (distance from the host country, cost of living in the chosen country). International mobility aid can be combined with merit-based aid. You keep your grant based on social criteria and the Erasmus+ grant.

Conditions

To qualify, you must meet the following conditions:
- Stay of between 2 and 9 consecutive months. Over the course of your higher education studies, you may not accumulate more than 9 months of international mobility aid.
- If you have a higher education grant based on social criteria or are receiving an annual allowance (specific aid scheme)
- You are preparing for a national diploma under the responsibility of the Ministry of Higher Education in a public higher education establishment / which has entered into a contractual agreement with the State
- Your training or work placement abroad is part of your course of study

Steps

To apply, you need to collect an application form from your school's international relations department, fill it in and submit it to the department. The application must be accompanied by a proposed study period or work placement abroad.
The head of the school selects applications on the basis of the quality and pedagogical interest of the students' individual projects and their consistency with the school's international policy.
