This is a flat-rate grant of 500 euros, regardless of the amount of expenses incurred by the apprentice.
- aid is granted only once for the same apprentice;
- it can be combined with any other aid received by the beneficiary, including social benefits;
- it is not taken into account when determining the income ceiling for the apprentice's tax household in order to qualify for social benefits.
To qualify, you must be at least 18 years old, hold a current apprenticeship contract and be enrolled on a course to obtain your "B" driving licence.
To make your application, you will need to contact your apprentice training centre (CFA). The CFA will tell you what to do and what to include in the application.
The apprentice training centre (CFA) examines the application submitted by the apprentice. If the application is admissible, the CFA certifies this on the form and pays the grant to the apprentice or, where applicable, to the driving school.
