Commitment

Civic Service in the Region
You can choose Civic Service to carry out a mission of general interest, over several months, while being paid.
Age: Over 16
What is it?

From the age of 16, you can choose Civic Service to carry out a mission of general interest, over several months, while being paid. It's a socially responsible and useful commitment.

Civic Service is a 6 to 12 month commitment during which I use my power to be useful for the benefit of all those who need it most. Like thousands of young people who want to serve the general interest and defend a common cause or values, it offers me a recognised and secure framework in which to make a commitment. If I'm aged between 16 and 25 (and up to 30 if I'm disabled), and I'm a French national, a citizen of the European Economic Area or have a legal residence permit in France, the doors to Civic Service are wide open to me! You don't need any qualifications or professional experience to take part in this human adventure. Ready to get started? In exchange, I receive an allowance, training and mentoring.

Conditions

To qualify, you must be aged 16 or over, a secondary school pupil, a student in a health or social work course, a vocational training trainee, an apprentice, a student, a graduate, an employee or a jobseeker.

You need to be in tune with the republican values shared by all civic service missions and build a relationship of trust with the organisation whose work you are supporting.
