Financial aid

Student activity allowance
Activity allowance for working students and apprentices
Age: over 18
What is it?

The activity allowance replaces the RSA activity allowance and the employment allowance. Students, trainees and apprentices over the age of 18 are eligible under certain conditions.
The allowance is paid monthly on the basis of your situation and your income over the last three months. The amount of the Activity Allowance is the same over 3 months, except in the event of separation. In this case, your entitlement will be recalculated to take account of this.

Conditions

To qualify, you must be a student employee or apprentice earning a monthly salary of more than 78% of the Smic net as at 1 January this year. You must be over 18 years of age and live in France in a stable and effective manner.
In addition, you must
- be the sole carer for one or more children
- or have a professional activity (employed or self-employed) with a net monthly income of more than 952.74 euros.

Validity
valid until 2030
