Training for the Highway Code
A scheme run by the city of Marseille to help young people aged 16 to 18 pass their driving test.

What is it?

The City of Marseille is committed to helping young people in the city to overcome their difficulties in accessing public transport and to support them in obtaining their driving licence.

A driving test course is offered to young people aged between 16 and 18, living in priority urban neighbourhoods with poor or no public transport links.

  • Training courses, funded by the City of Marseillewill take place in school holidays and during the spring and summer school holidays.
  • The courses are run by accredited professionals, who will help you get the most out of your training. individualised care corresponding to the difficulties encountered.
  • 10 sessions on average for each young person.
  • If you fail the exam, a catch-up session is organised.

 

Conditions

The course is open to young people aged 16 to 18 who live in neighbourhoods with poor or no public transport links.

Steps

Registration is open to all young people aged 16 to 18 inclusivefrom social structures (municipal and voluntary).
Individuals can also register;

  • To take part in this training course, you need reservation and a prior registration (see link I benefit);
  • The entry form and payment for the driving test must be returned duly completed and signed to the following address: sj-dae@marseille.fr ;
  • Entries will be examined by a selection committee according to the following criteria;
  • These documents must be accompanied by the latest CAF certificate (showing the beneficiary number and the family quotient);
  • Participants selected by the selection committee will receive a confirmation e-mail.
