SUPPORT FOR PROJECTS AIMED AT YOUNG CITIZENS
The latest regional scheme to promote biodiversity aims to turn 15-30 year-olds into "agents of change".
Age: Under 30
What is it?

The latest regional scheme to promote biodiversity aims to turn 15-30 year-olds into "agents of change".

In line with the 17 sustainable development goals set out by the United Nations in 2015, and against a backdrop of health and environmental crises, the South Region is setting up a new scheme to support projects aimed at young citizens: Nature ta vie et agis!

In concrete terms, the aim is to equip 15-30 year olds, many of whom are already involved in action, to become agents of change, transformers, ready to take up the challenges of resilience by proposing innovative solutions, stimulating social progress and inspiring change within their communities and territories.

Conditions

Target young people aged between 15 and 30, involving them as early as possible.

The main theme of this new scheme is to take on board the challenges of biodiversity in the context of global change. Projects may focus on :

  • knowledge and preservation of the richness and fragility of biodiversity ;
  • the impact of this degradation on ecosystems;
  • natural risk management ;
  • the links between biodiversity health and human health ;
  • individual, collective and societal adaptations.

The projects presented may take the form of a school outing, visit or production, or may take place outside the school (creation of events, artistic expression, etc.).
