A non-formal learning scheme that helps with professional and personal development and provides an opening onto interculturality through meetings, language learning and the discovery of new cultures.
This new programme offers young people aged between 18 and 30 a range of opportunities to get involved: volunteering, employment, work placements and funding to help them carry out their own community projects.
The Commission's funding covers transport, accommodation, food, health insurance, language support and a monthly pocket money (which may vary depending on the country).
To qualify, you must be aged between 18 and 30. You can apply from the age of 17, but you must be over 18 and under 31 when you start a project. Volunteer assignments can last up to 12 months.
To apply, you need to register on the European Solidarity Corps portal.
You must sign a charter committing you to the principles and values of the European Solidarity Corps.
