The Southern Region is offering a grant of 150 euros for the 3rd module of the BAFA (Brevet d'Aptitudes aux Fonctions d'Animateurs).
The BAFA training cycle is divided into three phases:
- a general training module (8 days),
- a practical course (14 days)
- an advanced course or BAFA 3 (6 days).
The total cost of the course varies between 650 euros and over 1,000 euros, depending on the type of accommodation and the type of in-depth course.
The Southern Region has decided to contribute to the funding of the BAFA 3. Other financial aid is also provided by various bodies: Caisse nationale d'allocations familiales, Mutuelle sociale agricole, etc.

This aid is aimed at secondary school pupils, students in health and social work training, vocational training trainees, apprentices, students, young graduates, company directors, employees and jobseekers aged between 16 and 25 and living in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
To apply, you need to send in your application form, enclosing your receipted invoice following your course in the PACA region. The Region will grant you 150 euros in aid, which will be paid directly to you for your BAFA 3 course.
