This is help for students with health problems, whatever their level and whatever their course.
What is it?

This is aid for students with health problems, whatever their level and whatever their course. Under no circumstances is this aid intended to cover medical expenses.

Conditions
  • Be of French or Swiss nationality
  • Financial difficulties in starting or continuing education due to accident, disability or illness

The foundation meets once a year, in February, and decides which students will receive assistance. The committee does not give any reasons for granting or withholding aid. The decision is therefore not subject to appeal. If you are approved by the foundation, your Crous will make the transfer.

This aid can be combined with other Crous grants and is renewable several times.

Steps

You must apply to the Crous social services department and provide the following information by 30 November:

  • A medical report (in a confidential envelope) explaining any health problems
  • A letter setting out the reasons for the request
  • Proof of nationality
  • Parents' and student's tax returns
  • Proof of income and expenses
  • A school leaving certificate for the current year
