Monthly assistance with your rent

What is it?

There are three types of housing benefit paid by the Caisse d'Allocations Familiales (CAF). They cannot be combined:

Allocation Logement à caractère Social (ALS): for all students
Aide Personnalisée au Logement (APL) (personalised housing subsidy): applies to accommodation covered by an agreement between the State and the owner
Allocation Logement à caractère Familial (ALF): for students with children or dependants

The amount of your assistance depends on your resources and family situation....

Conditions

Before applying, you can run a simulation to find out whether or not you are eligible for assistance from the CAF: you can run a housing assistance simulation online.
This simulator enables you to calculate the amount of your assistance, determine your budget and choose your accommodation accordingly. The estimates given at the end are for information only.

1. please have your :
- number and the Caf to which you belong ;
- your rental contract ;
- your income for the year N-2 ;
- your bank details (Rib) ;
- your income from assets (taxable investment income, property income, etc.).

3. Validate and send the necessary supporting documents
